Brown Bluff was our first landing on the Antarctic Peninsula itself. It was teeming with wildlife, with Adélie Penguins, Gentoo Penguins, a single Chinstrap Penguin, fur seals, nesting Snow Petrel and Pintardo Petrel, a Weddell Seal, and several skuas. Some of the icebergs floating in the bay were a very deep blue. Behind the beach was a high cliff.
