As we approached South Georgia, a pod of Orcas was seen to the port stern side. Note the seabirds following the whales. These include Black-browed Albatrosses, Giant Petrels and Wilson's Petrels. In this first photograph, look at the fin on the right. That's a male, while the whale on left is a female with a smaller fin. The wingspan of the Black-browed Albatross is over 2 metres - so the fin of that male Orca is in the region of five feet!
