Northern Waterthrush

Northern Waterthrush at the Manuel Antonio National Park - also seen at Tortuguero. Difficult to distinguish from the rarer Louisiana Waterthrush. Although the supercilium is broad behind the eye, as in Louisiana Waterthrush, the flanks are not buffish, the legs are not bubblegum pink, and there appears to be flecking on the throat - all consistent with Northern Waterthrush which is common in most of Costa Rica.
