A lucky find was an adult King Vulture one lunch time on the Pacific coast. It was circling with several Turkey and Black Vultures on a thermal. There were also other hawks in the same thermal, and frigate birds.
The black and white underwing pattern is a distinguishing feature as is the orange and yellow head at close range
